To bring more jobs to Wisconsin we must first level the playing field for our American workers. Many countries overseas create an unfair working environment by exploiting workers for economic gain. Because we in America believe in family supporting wages, workers compensation, social security, safe working conditions and preserving the environment, we are penalized when jobs go overseas.

While we level the playing field for Wisconsin workers, we need to advance numerous strategies: buy American products, advance sweat-free policies and create 21st century high-tech jobs.

I will fight for Wisconsin legislation that requires the state to purchase American- made vehicles. I will also push for other states and communities to pass similar legislation. Moreover, I will encourage citizens to purchase American- made cars. Together we will have enough cumulative purchasing power to create hundreds of thousands of jobs.

I will fight for Wisconsin legislation that requires the state to purchase sweat-free products. Sweat-free legislation levels the playing field for American workers by requiring our trading partners to pay wages that are on par with ours.

I will fight for Wisconsin legislation that creates 21st century high-tech jobs such as lithium-ion battery and solar panel manufacturing plants. Lithium-ion batteries are in cell phones, laptops and in electric cars.

Wisconsin should be a leader in clean energy technology jobs.
